Services

As Ata Engineering, we serve our customers using water treatment chemicals, in 3 main service areas.
01

Facility Technical Audit and Engineering Inspection

UF/RO, boiler, cooling water and waste treatment systems of the facility are examined mechanically, chemically, operationally and reported to the customer. Solutions to any existing or potential problems along with any possible improvements, developments, revisions are reported both technically and economically. As for chemical treatment and equipment efficacy, recommendations are made in accordance with the literature.

Each facility has a unique water system design. We determine the ideal conditions for the customer; considering the efficiency in engineering and the economical cost. In this field study, which lasts for 1 or 2 days, we prepare a preliminary report including this information. The preliminary report examines existing water systems in chemical, mechanical and operational aspects. If everything is optimal, this report is sufficient. However, if there is a problem, deficiency and/or improvement detected, this is also stated in the preliminary report. Possible technical problems and their economic reflections are listed and upon request presented as a detailed main report.

In the main report, sometimes, very simple solutions can solve very important problems. Here are some examples

  • Changing incorrectly selected dosing points in boiler water systems
  • Changing chemical balances in cooling tower systems
  • Changing the cartridge filter micron level in pre-treatment in RO systems
  • Minor revisions in the polymer dosings of the open circuits in the iron and steel industry.

Sometimes, more detailed solutions may be required:

  • Problems in oxygen levels in boiler water systems due to internal structure failures and design errors of the dearator
  • Chemical treatment errors and high water consumption in cooling water systems
  • Incorrect pressure and flow applications, design errors in RO systems
  • Defects in steel plants mold circuits’ water spray systems
  • Vane, impeller velocities and water flow rates in the sedimentation pond.

Our aim is, within the scope of our experience and knowledge, to determine all points effecting the operational continuity and the economical cost of the facility. In our main report, we also provide an estimation for the technical, economical and environmental contributions regarding these improvements.

Preparation of Chemical Treatment Program and Tender Consultancy

In the above-mentioned audit and inspection, if improvement and development oppurtunities are caught in which chemicals and equipment requirement and/or changes arise, necessary support is provided to the customer. The water treatment program is prepared in terms of chemical and mechanical aspects, and technical consultancy is supplied from the beginning to the end of the tender.

During this consultancy, technical specification of the water treatment program is prepared. In this specification, within the latest water technology, the most accurate technical criteria are specified according to customer needs; so that suppliers can prepare proposals in this direction. During the evaluation of the proposals, each supplier is examined objectively and results are presented to the customer as a report. In the ongoing process, if needed, any revisions are submitted to the vendors under customer control, and it is ensured that technically acceptable offers remain in the last round. And at last, the final report is presented to the customer.

If our customer does not want to be bound by the patented products and the the commitment criteria pursued by chemical suppliers, a water treatment program consisting of commodity products, which can be obtained easily, will be designed. This will liberate the facility both economically and technically. The customer buys water treatment chemicals as economical commodity products and Ata Engineering provides the necessary service. It should be noted that 90% of all products belonging to these vendors, consist of these commodity products.

Experience serves not only to confirm theory, but differs from it without disturbing, it leads to new truths with theory only has not been able to reach.

Water Treatment Trainings

Extensive trainings on water treatment systems are provided, along with chemistry and mechanical engineering. It’s based on independent scientific data and facts rather than the subjective approaches of chemical and equipment manufacturers. It carries the innovations and experiences of the water treatment literature. Our trainings enable both field personnel and managers to understand from an economical and technical point of view where their facilities stand, and how to solve their problems and carry out improvements.

Thanks to these trainings, the customer becomes much more knowledgeable. These trainings not only offer standard conventional informations, given by almost every chemical supplier, but confidential and advanced knowledge. In this way, the customer can evaluate the proposals, recommendations and practices offered by the suppliers more accurately from a technical and economic point of view.

04

Full Consultancy

It’s an annual consultancy that includes the 3 basic services mentioned above, monthly site visits and service for chemical analysis and checking equipment performances depending on the customer's needs.

Full advisory service includes regular on-site inspections. Each year environmental, economic and technical improvement targets are determined and thereby necessary actions are taken to achieve these goals.

The latest water technologies, supplier products and scientific literature are followed closely and every improvement that can be in favor of the customer is shared with them instantly.
